Web.com Junior Players Tour
The Web.com Junior Players Tour events are 36-hole events open to all TOUR members and when available guests of members.
Players from all Tours will compete in their respective age and gender division. Age divisions are typically Boys 10-12, Boys 13–15, Boys 16–18 and a Girls Division. The Girls Division is typically one division, but could change if entries are such to warrant two separate age groups. The 9-hole Foundation TOUR is also invited to play in these events on a space available bases. Players from the Foundation TOUR may opt to play in the 36-hole age group with the approval of the Executive Director. All age divisions could be changed based on number of entries.
The Web.com Junior Player’s Tour events are separate and have a separate application and entry fee. The age groups may be different; however, your age at the time of the event will be used to determine your age group.
The Web.com Junior Player’s Tour will also allow you to receive higher level golf opportunity, special event opportunity, earn performance based entry stars (PBE) to the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) and exemptions to the Florida Junior Tour (FJT). These programs was designed to forge an easier pathway through the various levels of junior golf. This program is a strong reason to support the NFJG Web.com Junior Player’s Tour as they are local events and played on some of the best courses in the North Florida area.
PBE Stars and FJT exemptions may be earned by the Boys 16-18, Boys 13-15 and Girls 13-18 Division. However, if the exemption recipient graduates from high school in the same year as the exemption and will not be utilized, the exemption may then go to the next place finisher as long as the two day event score meets guideline requirements. Double Player of the Year Points are awarded in all of our Web.com Junior Player’s Tour events that will count towards the Web.com TOP HONOR AWARD and Player of the Year.
Note: There will also be one day events where FJT exemptions are awarded.
Additionally, at the annual awards banquet, the low scoring average in the different age groups of the Web.com Junior Player’s Tour events will be recognized and presented with a special award.
