It gives me great pleasure to introduce to you Dr. Robert K. Winters, an internationally recognized sport psychologist, author and professional educator. Dr. Bob is the President of his own performance enhancement company located in Orlando, Florida and is the Resident Sport Psychologist for the internationally renowned Leadbetter Golf Academy World Teaching Headquarters at Champions Gate in Orlando, Florida.
Dr. Winters completed his Ph.D. degree in Sport Psychology from the University of Virginia and served on the athletic coaching staff for eight years. He is a former collegiate and touring professional with over 50 years of competitive experience. Dr. Bob has coached over 75 Collegiate All-Americans and has several NCAA Team and Individual Champions in Division I, II and III, the NAIA and other college divisions. He has been the mental coach of US, British, Australian and Scottish Amateur Champions as well as having coached US Men’s and Women’s Open Champion’s and other professional major athletics in a variety of sports.
Dr. Winters is considered a leading authority in the field of confidence enhancement, sports vision and putting psychology. He was the mental game consultant for NBC Sports and Quokka Sports networks on golf.com and has been a regular contributor to Tee It Up Now Radio Sports, ESPN and the Golf Channel. Dr. Bob has also served as mental game consultant for Golfweek Magazine and Golfweek.com with the series entitled “The Winning Mind with Dr. Robert Winters”.
Dr. Winters is one of the original directors of NIKE Junior Golf School and US Sports Schools and was the Director for 29 years. Dr. Bob is the author or co-author of several publications, CD’s and audio books, notably the best-selling books;
