The North Florida Junior Golf Foundation Board of Directors and Staff is honored to partner with PGA TOUR Professional Russell Knox. Together, we look forward to growing the game of golf for all juniors as we prepare our membership for tournament play. Russell’s outstanding quote “Nothing is better than tournament  golf. Love the nerves, love the challenge and love the journey.” and “Wake up everyday excited to become a better player” will resonate for years to come. Taking the NFJGF to the next level is our goal. We not only want to provide our junior golfers with the most competitive tournament experiences possible, but we also want to ensure the foundation can continue to award scholarships and impact young lives for many years to come. Raising needed funds through supporting businesses, PGA Members, local clubs, and programs like the “Chip in for Youth” program sponsored by the PGA TOUR helps us to achieve those goals. However, fundraising events are just the first steps in elevating NFJGF’s profile. Many of the world’s best golfers live, practice and play in this area, and we enjoy partnering with these golfers to promote the growth of junior golf and the values of this great game.

As an ambassador for NFJGF, the time commitment is minimal, as we know how busy and demanding a PGA TOUR Players schedule is. As an ambassador, the key role is to inspire the next generation of golfers, generate awareness and support for NFJGF and promote the growth of junior golf in North Florida when opportunities present themselves. It is not our intent to overwhelm our supporters with unending obligations and requests, but rather we ask our representatives to reflect back on the days as a junior golfer and how crucial these experiences were to helping them become the touring professional—and person—they are today and pass them along.
